Successful Students

Many students do not know what a good student is or what a good student does. For one thing, good students need not be the individuals with A’s and B’s.

Characteristics of Good students

1. They follow directions
2. They attend class---regularly and on time. If they miss a day they make sure they get all assignmens and with the help of their classmates and teacher understand specifically what was covered in class.
3. They demonstrate that they care about their grades and are willing to improve them.
4. They speak out in class(even if their attempts are a bit clumsy or difficult) They ask questions about assignments.
5. Turn in assignments that are neat and sharp. They take time to produce a final product that reflects a caring attitude and pride of their work.
6. They see the teacher before and after class about grades and tests and other academic problems.
7. They pay attention in class. They do not chat, chew gum or eat.They are polite even if they get bored.
8. They turn all their work on time.
9. They ask for help, and spend time studying with other classmates.

iEstudiantes que sobresalen!

Muchos estudiantes no se dan cuenta que es o que se debe hacer para ser un buen estudiante. Los buenos estudiantes no necesariamente tienen que ser los que sacan nueves y dieces en clase.

Characteristicas de buenos estudiantes

1. Siguen las instrucciones
2. Son puntuales y asisten a clase regularmente. Si faltan un día se aseguran de recibir todos los trabajos y con la ayuda de sus compañeros de clase y sus maestros entiende todo lo que se cubrio en clase.
3. Demuestran que se preocupan por sus calificaciones y estan dispuestos a mejorarlas.
4. Participan en clase aunque sea muy dificil. Hacen preguntas sobre los trabajos.
5. Entregan sus trabajos y tareas bien hechos y limpios. Se toman su tiempo para producir muy buenos trabajos que demuestran actitud positiva y orgullo en su trabajo.
6. Hablan con su maestro antes o después de clase sobro su calificación o pruebas y otros problemas academicos.
7. Ponen atención en clase. No interrumpen ni hablan con sus compañeros cuando su maestro esta hablando. No mastican chicle o comen en clase. Son amables aunque la clase este aburrida.
8. Entregan su trabajo a tiempo.
9. Piden ayuda, y estudian con sus compañeros de clase. classmates.
